What is the Corpus Christi 7 Day Film Project? (CC7D)
CC7D is an annual filmmaking competition/screening conducted by the Corpus Christi Film Society. It is designed to:
--facilitate more filmmaking in our area
--boost both amateur and experienced filmmakers' skills
--boost the skill set and create resume experience for local casts and crew
--celebrate area filmmakers, both veterans and amateurs.
Filmmaking teams have one week to make a short film from start to finish. The entire process must occur within that 7 days. This year the Official 7 Day Time Period is from Thursday, July 24, 2008, at 6:30 PM to Wednesday, July 31, 2008, 6:30 PM. The completed films will be screened to the public at Harbor Playhouse on Saturday, August 23, 2008, followed by an Awards presentation for the best films and performances. Click Here for more information about the screening.
Prior to the Official 7 day Time Period there is a Citywide Cast and Crew Call - Click Here for more info. The Cast and Crew Call is on July 16, 2008 at House of Rock beginning at 6:30 PM and is open to anyone who would like to put their name in the hat to appear in or work on a CC7D film.
The entire process is open to the public.
