2009 TEAMS | I WANT TO BE ON A TEAM | 2009 FILMMAKER DOCUMENTS
The heart of CC7D is the army of filmmaking teams who make the films. If you consider yourself a filmmaker, CC7D is the ideal place to hone your skills and flex your muscles. If
you've ever wanted to be involved in filmmaking, CC7D is the
perfect opportunity due to its short time period and hands-on
nature.
If you want to participate in CC7D you either:
A. Need to start and staff a team OR
B. Join someone else's team
A. CREATING YOUR TEAM
In order to create
your own team you simply come to the Kickoff Event at THE VENUE at House of
Rock. (July 8, 2009; 6:30 PM; 511 Starr St.). At the Kickoff
Event you will turn in the Participant's Agreement and your
Registration Fee ($15 to enter without competing or $30 to be
in competition). You are responsible for putting your team
together, getting your own equipment, etc. You're the
director! One resource available to you is the CCFS Local
Production Guide. Click Here to either sign up as a Film
Production outfit (this is open to everyone, pro and amateur)
OR to peruse those looking available for cast and crew.
B. JOIN AN EXISTING TEAM
In order to join
an existing team, you have some leg work to do:
--Look at the 2009 Teams List below. Many filmmakers need cast and crew and have left their contact information. Contact them directly.

Production Guide under the appropriate heading for your talent
(actor, crew, etc.).
--Come to the Kickoff Event at House of Rock on July 8, 2009, at 6:30 PM to solicit Team Leaders.
Make sure you attend
all the CC7D events to get in front of team leaders. Look at
the team list below as it begins to populate to and click on
the contact links. Email the team leaders and pitch them on
you. At the end of the day we always urge those looking to be
on a team to bite the bullet and create their own team in
order to make their first film. This is what the
Non-Competitive Category is all about.
