The KICKOFF for CC7D 2008 will be at House of Rock, 511 Starr St., in downtown Corpus Christi on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 6:30 PM.

A representative from each team, preferably the Team Leader, is required to attend.

At this event teams will register, pay their entry fee, turn in their signed Participant's Agreement and receive this year's essential elements (prop, character, line of dialogue).

This is the last chance for those not on a team to find a team.

After the elements are given, the 'starter pistol' will fire which sets the official turn-in time for the Film Turn In Party on July 31. (Example: The event starts at 6:30. Once everyone is registered, questions are answered and the essential elements revealed, a to-be-determined CC7D steering committee member will use the clock on their networked cell phone to determine the exact time. For the purposes of this example let's assume that time is 7:13 PM. The exact time (7:13 PM in this example) will be announced for all to hear and that will be the official turn-in time for the films one week later. So, to be absolutely clear, in this made up scenario the turn in time for the film would be 7:13 PM on July 31. If the film is turned in at 7:14 PM on July 31 it will be screened but IT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ANY AWARDS!!!!
