New In 2009!:
Two New Awards:
Third Place - Prior to 2009, there were two awards for best film, The Grand Jury and Honorable Mention (2nd Place). In 2009, we will reveal and honor the third place film as selected by The CC7D Jury.
The Young Filmmaker Award - All Team Leaders who are 19 years of age or younger on the date of the Kickoff Event will be eligible for The CC7D Young Filmmaker Award. This award will go the eligible Team Leader whose film is judged highest by the CC7D Jury.
Steering Committee Props Eliminated: Prior to 2009, The Steering Committee created awards for films/teams that they believed deserve recognition for something fun or interesting. Past examples include Most Disturbing Moment, Best Special Effects, Best Ensemble Cast, Most Comedic Moment, Explorations in Existentialism, etc. These awards are going away. The Steering Committee still reserves the right to create special awards not listed if they are so moved.
