2010 CC7D OFFICIAL 7 DAYS OF FILMMAKING

July 7, 2010 - July 14, 2010

At the end of the CC7D KICKOFF PARTY on July 7, the metaphorical starter's pistol is fired and the Official 7 Days of Filmmaking begin.

During this 7 day period over 40 teams including over 300 people swarm Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend making their short films.

Films will be turned in on Wednesday, July 14, at the WRAP PARTY.

Join us at the Kickoff and the Wrap Up and be sure to wave at the filmmakers as they rush by.

There are four CC7D events:

1. The Citywide Cast and Crew Call - Several weeks before filmings begins, The Cast and Crew Call is a great place to learn about CC7D and how to get involved. It is open to anyone who would might want to appear in or work on a CC7D film. This year, The Cast and Crew Call is [DETAILS TBD]. (Attendance at this event does not guarantee that you will beplaced on a team.)

2. The CC7D Kickoff Event - The Kickoff is where teams register, pay and receive the three essential elements that must appear in their film. At the end of this event, the clock begins to run for the Official 7-Day Filming Period. This year, The CC7D Kickoff Event is on July 7, 2010 at THE VENUE at House of Rock (511 Starr St. in downtown Corpus Christi) beginning at 6:30 PM. It is free and open to all.

3. The CC7D Wrap Party - The Wrap Party is where teams turn in their completed (hopefully) films. It begins at 6:30, but films are due exactly 168 hours (7 days) after the end of the kickoff event. This year, The CC7D Wrap Party is on July 14, 2010 at THE VENUE at House of Rock (511 Starr St. in downtown Corpus Christi) beginning at 6:30 PM. It is free and open to all.

4. The CC7D Screening and Awards - The CC7D Screening occurs a few weeks after the films are turned in. It is open to the public and sells out quickly. This year, The CC7D Screening is [DETAILS TBD]
